My Name is Brian T. McConnell and I consider myself Blessed. I had the great fortune to grow up in a big family with Great Parents, play sports ,and go on to win a football scholarship to Michigan State. I had wonderful teammates who became lifelong friends. After a great college career, playing for Duffy Daugherty I was drafted by the Buffalo Bills. I went on to play for the Houston Oilers and Miami Dolphins. I became a member of the Players Association and the NFL Alumni. Better still, I had a great life after football, with success in the High Tech business world.

Then, in 2005, my luck changed. Like many of our colleagues I became very ill with liver disease and was diagnosed with Liver Cancer. I chased every cure I could find from stems cells in Russia to Chemo therapy. Finally my luck started to change. I was declared cancer free. My luck continued to get better and after a ten year wait I was told that they had a match for a Liver transplant. I endured the eight and a half hour surgery and started heading towards the end zone. I had to now concentrate on recovery and improving my general state of health.

Being Irish, I believe in Luck and prayers and miracles. Indeed, we have a saying in our family, “We don’t pray for miracles, we count on them”. They were answered when I ran into Darren Long, a former NFL Player and the founder of Black Living Water. Darren sold me on the idea of trying Black Living Mineral Probiotic Water. I did and found out how much it improved my creatine levels in my Kidney, dramatically sped up my recovery, helped my multiple aches and pains and improved dramatically my overall health. I tell this story because I am an average Joe that faced tremendous obstacles and overcame them with the help of fellow players like Darren.
